New Hot Water Boiler
Old Boiler from 1974
Had apparently leaked water for years. The metal plate it was mounted on, had more rust holes in it! The former owner "forgot" to inform us about this! Took it out, since we found out, that water was dripping from it. New one installed in april 2019.
Isotemp SPA 40L with mixer
New fire extinguisher.
The fire extinguishers all over the boat were 13 years old, when we bought it. OVERDUE!
Boltet to the floor
Actually using old adjustment bolts from an old IKEA storage cabinet! Works great.
2 ways of heating water
Can heat water by a 220V heating element or by running engine coolant through the heater. The black hoses are connected to the engine coolant system. The copper pipes in the background are for the hydraulic steering system.
Under the helmsman´s chair
The boiler is mounted under the helmsman chair. This is also the place I have all my tools etc. for boatworks.
